As the week continues, I’d like to welcome my second guest author, J.L. Hendricks!

Now, since we Indie authors are reaching out to each other like crazy, in hopes of spreading the word about one another’s work, J.L.Hendricks has a few new questions she’d like to answer from another Q& A.

What do you write about in your blog?

Currently I do a #FreebieFriday on #InstaFreebie regular blog every Friday! Come check it out for an awesome selection of free books from various authors and genre’s! I also write about different things that sound good to me. I have written about some other authors, done cover reveals, I even have a short story from my Eclipse series up. I am from So Cal and not too long ago we had an earthquake in the middle of the night that woke me up, so I blogged about it the next day.

What are your writing plans for this year?

I have two full trilogies to get out by the end of this year, plus a few books for anthologies! One of those is almost done, just working on the final editing pieces. I have also just sent book 1 in my new sci-fi romance trilogy to the beta readers! Worlds Away is already up for presale and the final manuscript goes up to Amazon this weekend.

For Christmas I will have a brand new trilogy to come out in November and December. It will be a Paranormal Christmas Romance. I can’t wait to start writing this one!

With writing, are you a plotter or (seat-of-your) pantser?

Total Pantser! I tried really hard to plot out a scene before writing Age of the Eclipse, a friend of mine asked to be killed off in a Bingo hall. I totally wanted to do it and make it this huge battle scene, but once the story started writing itself, I couldn’t get it in. So Nan, it’s coming! I will get you killed off in a Bingo hall!

Where do you like to travel?

Europe is one of my favorite places to go. There is so much to see and do all over Europe, plus the history is just amazing in each country! However, the Caribbean is one of my favorite places to relax. White sandy beaches, who can resist!

Favorite food?

Seafood!!! I once had a fantastic Marlin while in Seattle, Wa! I have looked at every menu since then looking for it everywhere I do, guess I need to go back to Seattle this summer! Unless someone in SO Cal knows of a restaurant I go and get a good serving of Marlin?

Favorite song at the moment:

I have been listening to soundtracks lately while writing. The Suicide Squad soundtrack has kept me in the writing zone lately, so I would have to say that one. But I always love a good Daft Punk song too! They really help me to focus when writing.

Number one thing to do on your bucket list:

Visit every continent on this planet! Yes, even Antarctica! I still have South America, Antarctica, and Australia/Oceania to visit. Then I want to conquer outer space! To infinity and beyond!

J.L.Hendricks:

J.L. Hendricks is a new independent author. The Interdimensional Saga series is her first one and she is very excited to share Book 1, Eclipse of the Warrior. Her latest series which comes out later this month is a PG-13 version of the hot Alien Sci-Fi Romance genre! She thought it might be fun to write in that world while still keeping it mostly clean for everyone to read. Although, she has had some complaints that it was too steamy. She is very proud to have served in the US Army before she went to college. She decided to finally write, and finish a book, this year because of a few friends who encouraged her to do so. She hopes her stories entertain you and can bring a laugh on occasion.
